My First thoughts on Transition Year.
In the years leading up to Transition Year, I was told that TY is a year in which you relax and do minimal amounts of work. After only a week I can say for certain that that is not the case.
On the first day back everyone was flooded with a ridiculous amount of information. It mainly consisted of the various activities and adventures we had the chance to take part in this year. From extracurricular activities, to Gaisce, to the French Exchange. Everything was covered.
After Induction Day, I was truly excited for all the interesting opportunities awaiting me this year. I am hoping to do as much as I can this year. I am part of the Newsletter committee and I hope this will help me improve upon my English and essay writing. I am also taking part in Gaisce, which will hopefully integrate me in my community and teach me many skills that will be useful for the future.
Overall, I want to use my time wisely this year and I wish to achieve as much as I can during TY.
